Welsh Quilts

(c) 2001 Harry Campbell Click on the thumbnails to show a full-size picture.

The technical quality of the images is not first-class but they give you an idea of the kind of patterns there are. When I first put up this page I had been unable to find any other pictures of this sort of quilts on the Web, though you can see some nice ones at the Trefriw woollen Mills website, http://www.trefriw-woollen-mills.co.uk; the woollen mills at Solva (Pembrokeshire) make similar designs, though their website is not quite so pretty. I like to think of these designs as the Welsh equivalent of tartan. If you like them and want to make use of them for non-profit-making purposes, feel free to help yourself. If using them on a website, a link to http://www.gwybodiadur.co.uk would be very much appreciated.
